Bullet Journal

I always sucked at to-do lists, I always had an issue with procrastinating on chores, obligations, etc. While I was listening to some podcasts someone mentioned bullet journal and I thought, well could this be the one thing that will work for me? And I am simply impressed by how simple it is but also, how effective it is in pushing you to finish things.

Journal and a productivity system

The amazing thing about the bullet journaling system is that it can be a journal and a task management system. The combination of the two is what makes it very appealing to me, I love to journal, but I hate to-do lists. This just feels different, it feels like something I want to do, not something I have to do.

Index page

Another brilliant part of the bullet journaling system is the index page, where you have to keep track of all your important documents in the journal. It’s not the usual journal where you don’t know where you put stuff and it just growing and growing without any way of organizing it

Migrations

The main premise of the bullet journal method is the fact that it requires you to migrate all tasks to the next day/week/month/year if they are not completed and that is the genius behind this method. Every time you have to migrate something you are thinking well, it’s better to do this than to migrate it again. If you migrated it a couple of times, then the more important question is, why am I not finishing this, is this really something I wanna do?
